This first image I have created is a rough drawing of a house, in this picture I have only made the outline for the house as I plan to add more detail to it moving forwards. I will be utilising a few different pencil shades for my design as this helps make the design show up better but also allows me to add detail to it and improve it at the same time. In this first image the pencil I used was a 5H, I used this pencil to start with because its very light and allows me to plan out the main outline of the building. I didn’t add very much detail to this image as I wanted to get a rough idea of what my building would look like without any details. I feel that this design was okay since it was only a rough outline.

In this second image we can see I have updated the design, I went over with a darker shade pencil a HB, which is a middle shade pencil as it isn’t too dark or too light. After going over the design with this pencil I then added some extra details to make the design seem more house like, I added windows and a door, these were essential for me to add as I needed a realistic looking house design. However even though I like this design and it’s not done I feel like I could do better and improve in some areas to make the house look even better. To make the design look nicer I could try and make it look different by changing the way I create the outline as this is a big possibility.
